Critical vulnerability on OpenSSL
(CVE-2014-0160) that may cause sensitive data leaks – Heartbleed bug
Severity: HighExploitation: SimpleImpact: Retrieval of sensitive data
A vulnerability in the SSL/TLS Heartbeat extension on OpenSSL may allow malicious users to read 64 KB of memory on affected systems. Memory that can be accessed in this manner may contain sensitive information such as user session cookies or, worse, the server’s private key. The Heartbeat extension (RFC6520) is enabled by default
This vulnerability affects all systems running on SSL/TLS in versions OpenSSL_1.0.1 up to OpenSSL_1.0.1f inclusive, as well as 1.0.2-beta versions. It will be fixed in version 1.0.1g of OpenSSL.

Solution and workaround for products in the Netasq range.
The exploitation of the vulnerability on a protected server or on the product itself can be blocked proactively by configuring the action of the alarm Invalid SSL packet to “Block” in all active IPS inspection profiles. For information, this alarm is set to “Block” by default.
All filter rules relating to traffic that uses SSL must have an active IPS protection profile.
Example of the configuration:
A corrective version (v 9.1.2.3) that will fix this vulnerability will be published shortly.
TheInvalid SSL packetsignature provides 0-day protection from the Heartbleed vulnerability for internal servers using OpenSSL and protected by a Netasq product.

Elk jaar houdt een van de grootste tele-combladen in Frankrijk een onderzoek
onder meer dan 1000 Franse weder-verkopers. Het onderzoek is met name
gericht op SIP-apparaten entelefoon-systemen met IP-functionaliteit.
Bij dit onderzoek kwam Gigaset pro als beste uit de bus. Het onderzoek richt zich op branding, productprijzen en betrouwbaarheid. Gigaset pro wist zich vooral dankzij haar merk-imago van de concurrentie te onderscheiden. Naast Gigaset pro deden onder andere de volgende fabrikanten mee: Alcatel Lucent, Aastra, Snom en Depaepe.
De top drie wordt gevormd door Gigaset pro, gevolgd door Alcatel Lucent en Aastra.
Gigaset behaalde een zeer homogene score en wist vooral te overtuigen met het merk-imago. Alcatel-Lucent is traditioneel een sterk merk met een hoge betrouwbaarheid, maar met een mindere prijsstelling. Aastra heeft een goed imago en wordt gezien als betrouwbaar, maar komt ook tekort als het gaat om de prijsstelling.

Het afgelopen jaar hebben Gigaset pro-experts onze Gigaset pro Wiki continu aangevuld met content die kan worden gebruikt als ondersteuning voor Gigaset

Onze Wiki is de officiële en gratis beschikbare internationale technische encyclopedie op internet, die ondersteund wordt door Gigaset pro. De Wiki bevat koppelingen naar additionele informatie over diverse Gigaset pro-onderwerpen en technische achtergrondinformatie voor gebruikers.
Zo is er informatie te vinden over interoperabiliteit, de niveaus van interoperabiliteit van verschillende dienstenaanbieders, productdetails en achtergronden, firmware en software, release notes, white papers en nog veel meer.
Deze Wiki is een organische samenwerkingsvorm die op verschillende belangrijke manieren afwijkt van gangbare referentiebronnen in papiervorm. In tegenstelling tot gedrukte encyclo-pedieën wordt de Wiki doorlopend aangevuld en bijgewerkt, waarbij nieuwe informatie niet pas over enkele maanden of jaren beschikbaar is, maar binnen enkele minuten. Gewijzigde openingstijden rond de feestdagen
Op 25, 26 en 27 december en woensdag 1 januari, is het TopIT distributie verkoopkantoor, de service-/afhaalbalie en de centrale dienst in Barneveld de gehele dag gesloten en zijn wij telefonisch niet bereikbaar. Op deze dagen zullen er ook geen leveringen plaatsvinden. Op dinsdag 24 en 31 december is het TopIT distributie verkoopkantoor, de service-/afhaalbalie en de centrale dienst in Barneveld tot 13.00 uur open.
