Zie onderstaande bericht van NetASQ over de status van de update servers:Dear Partners,Last week, a new NETASQ URL base (59MB) has been published on our autoupdate servers.With this publication, we were faced with congestion and saturation problems on our connections and on our servers. Indeed all the UTM tried to download this new base, equivalent to 'autoupdate -f -t URLFiltering' command.Many improvements has been done on our update infructure, however there was still a lot of load.Therefore, we decided to roll back to the previous URL base (24MB); all UTMs, which havent succeed URL base update due to servers overload, will not download this new URL base.This action allowed to return to a normal situation and good server load, which will help us to improve the method of URL base pushing.-UTM which have old URL base will stay on this base.-UTM which have succeed to download this nex URL base will stay with this last one and will not recover the old URL base automatically (which
has been published).If you still experience failures with one of categories, please execute the following command:autoupdate -f -t categorieThe new URL base gave some categorisation problems on some webmail sites : webmail, hotmail, page jaune,...If this problem is still present, please execute the following command:autoupdate -f -t URLFilteringFurthermore, this new URL base will give problem on UTM of F serie (model S : F25/F50/F60).When this new URL base is downloaded, it will not have enough space for a 'normal' working.For example, it will not be possible to make an upgrade of firmware, due to lack of space on flash card.You can check which URL base is currentlu used on your product with the following command:du -hsc ~/Data/URLGroups/URLFiltering/Download24M : you have the old URL base.59M : you have the new URL base.The solution is to return to the old URL base which takes up less space on device with the following command:autoupdate -f -t URLFiltering.Our apologies for the

Problemen NetASQ Update Server

Zie onderstaande bericht betreffende de update servers van NetASQ:It&rsquo;s been one week since we started facing issues with Active Update services and we&rsquo;re still struggling to handle heavy overload on our infrastructure.This is taking much more time than expected due to the fact that UTM with firmware older than 8.0.3 is failing the Active Update and will endlessly keep restarting full database download all over again, generating more and more resource consumption on our servers.As a consequence and in order to try to cut down overload on our servers, we have temporarily blacklisted all UTM with firmware older than 8.0.3 (including v6 and v7). Please note this was done on our main Active Update server only (resolved onupdate3.netasq.comandupdate4.netasq.com).Therefore we strongly suggest customers to upgrade to 8.0.3 or 8.0.5 if possible.<br>

ZyXEL data trainingsprogramma

ZyXEL maakt data bekend van hand-on ZCNE trainingsprogramma Hands-on technische training stelt partners in staat om hun praktische kennis van draadloze, beveiligings- en switchingtechnologie te verdiepen 19-05-2010 ZyXEL heeft op haar website de nieuwe data voor ZCNE (ZyXEL Certified Network Engineer) trainingen gepubliceerd. Deze trainingen vinden plaats in het education center te Hoofddorp van ZyXEL. Het trainingsprogramma is zowel toegankelijk voor partners van ZyXEL als voor overige resellers en bijvoorbeeld netwerkbeheerders. Het stelt hen in staat om geavanceerde technische training te volgen om hun kennis op het gebied van draadloze, beveiligings- en switchingtechnologie te verbreden. Deelnemers die het examen aan het eind van de training met succes afronden, ontvangen de ZCNE-accreditatie (level 1 of level 2). De trainingen zijn een vervolg op de de online trainingen die gratis beschikbaar zijn op education.zyxel.com. Online zijn niet alleen Wireless, Security
en Switching trainingen te volgen, maar ook modules FTTx, WiMAX, IPDslam en Voice. De online ZCNP training kan op het eigen tempo gevolgd worden. Elke training bestaat uit een aantal theoretisch &ldquo;foundation&rdquo; modules en uit een aantal product gerelateerde modules. NETASQ presenteert nieuwe virtual appliances tijdens resellerevent

NETASQ presenteert nieuwe virtual appliances tijdens resellerevent NETASQ, Europees leverancier van netwerk en mail security-oplossingen, organiseert op 28 mei, vanaf half ŽŽn, een event voor haar resellers. Tijdens dit event zal NETASQ haar nieuwe Virtual UTM Appliances presenteren en demonstreren.
