Beste Hosted PBX-oplossing komt van het Nederlandse Xelion
Xelion heeft de beste hosted PBX-oplossing. Dit blijkt uit onderzoek van het onafhankelijke adviesbureau op het gebied van communicatietechnologie Cumula. Xelion is innovator en ontwikkelaar van bedrijfssoftware en leverancier van zakelijke Voice over IP-oplossingen en is sinds een jaar ook actief op de markt voor hosted telefonie. Xelion Phone System is een standaardoplossing voor bellen over internet (VoIP) met de mogelijkheid vast en mobiel te integreren en te communiceren vanaf de pc. Met deze propositie biedt Xelion een oplossing voor het mkb in Nederland, ook in white label versies. Vijf leveranciers van hosted PBX-oplossingen zijn onderzocht door Cumula. Het door Xelion zelf ontwikkelde systeem springt er volgens Cumula om een aantal redenen uit. Het systeem is beschikbaar als volledig hosted oplossing, maar ook als een variant die op locatie van de eindklant staat. Het is een oplossing met zeer rijke functionaliteiten, vooral rondom het bellen vanaf de pc en
smartphone. Daarnaast heeft Xelion een distributiemodel met meer dan zeventig resellers die ook installatie, beheer en service uitvoeren en de verbindingen leveren. Cumula heeft in het onderzoek vooral gelet op zeven punten: telefoniefunctionaliteiten, beschikbare randapparatuur, eenvoud van implementatie, beheersbaarheid, kosten en contract, Unified Communications (UC) en open infrastructuur. Op zes van de zeven punten in het onderzoek scoorde Xelion het hoogst. Het bedrijf scoort qua functionaliteiten hoog op de compleetheid van de functies in de standaardlicentie (geen meerprijs voor extra opties), de standaard beheermogelijkheden en de gebruikersvriendelijkheid van het systeem. Wat betreft de randapparatuurkeuze en de UC-mogelijkheden komt Xelion het beste uit de bus met zijn softphone en Wifi/3G-propositie. Qua beheersbaarheid is het bedrijf de sterkste met zijn alles-in-ŽŽn beheertool. Tegelijkertijd is de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding goed: Xelion biedt de
